Ubiquity Server Solutions releases UbiquityNOC

Bloomington, Illinois (July 13, 2006) - After much anticipation, the 100% in-house developed UbiquityNOC server management application has been released by Ubiquity Server Solutions - the dedicated and collocation hosting unit of Ubiquity Hosting Solutions, LLP. With this new interface, Ubiquity clients can now utilize the common features of other high-end dedicated providers including management all of server information with a common interface, and commanding remote power controls for instant reboots in the event of a freeze-up.
In addition, the new UbiquityNOC has been made equip with advanced service monitoring capabilities. Through this fully-configurable interface, the NOC supplies automated service monitoring capabilities on par with many costly exclusive server management companies. In the event of a service failure, the UbiquityNOC can be configured to send notification immediately via email or text message. If the user chooses, the NOC can also step beyond popular monitoring services by executing pre-defined shell commands or a full system restart should a certain service fail.
When asked to comment, Chief Operating Officer for Ubiquity Corey Northcutt stated:
“After reviewing the mainstream software titles for data center management, we eventually decided that nothing on the market quite had the features that our members had been asking for. Clearly the only solution left was for us to build this new interface, and from how it’s shaped up, we’re very happy we did.”
Although it has not yet been stated where this project will inevitably lead, Ubiquity has made it clear that a number of new features and advancements are still on the way.
