We’ve been aware for a while that the control panel on WebFusion’s MyServerWorld.net has seen better days. It was hardly the most intuitive of interfaces - and being honest, the retro design was starting to look a bit dated too.
So we’ve been busy working on an all-new control panel to replace it - and yesterday it launched. If you’ve logged in to your control panel in the last 24 hours or so, you’ll probably have noticed the change already.
The new interface has been crafted by our in-house team of crack designers and developers. It’s much easier on the eye than the old control panel, and makes better use of the space in your web browser window.
We have tried to strike a balance with the new design, making it easy to access the most-used settings without burying other options somewhere deep inside the site.
Once you log in, the body area of the screen is devoted to several main categories, making it easy to find the option you want. You can also view important information about your account - like your bandwidth usage - and access frequently-used settings directly from the right hand side of the page.
We think the new design is a lot simpler to use - and you should adjust to it pretty quickly, even if you were used to the old control panel’s quirks. You can see a screenshot of the new interface here. Or start using it yourself by logging in at www.myserverworld.net.
We hope you like it; if you have any feedback, please leave a comment here to let us know what you think.
