Today (March 3, 2007) AptHost would like to announce the official release of the AptHost Blog! Here you will be able to get the latest scoop on what’s happening with the company, and stay on top of the latest news within the web hosting industry. The AptHost Blog’s main purpose, however, is to create a more customer oriented experience.
Lets go ahead and get started…
AptHost is now making your web hosting experience even easier! As of the 26th of February we have began to offer Ruby On Rails with each shared/reseller hosting package. In case you don’t know, Ruby on Rails is an open source web application framework written in the programming language “Ruby”. It strives for simplicity, allowing real-world applications to be developed in less code than other frameworks and with a minimum of configuration. One of Rails’ guiding principles is “Don’t Repeat Yourself”.
Along with the addition of Ruby On Rails, the AptHost development team has been swiftly working to improve the compatibility, user-experience and “friendliness” of our website, services and customer service! We have recently upgraded to the latest version of our help desk and knowledgebase software, as well as our live chat tool in order to improve your experience as an AptHost customer! In addition, we have also made several graphical changes to our main website to improve our corporate image to potential customers. Finally, we have also increased the amount of disk space and bandwidth alloted to each shared and reseller web hosting package offered by AptHost, allowing you further flexibility and room to grow within your current web hosting package.
With that said, this has been the first post on the official AptHost Blog!
